Project Overview.

During the global coronavirus pandemic, Helix secured special authorisation from Manchester City Council to document the city during lockdown. Using 8K virtual reality technology, we captured the city’s iconic landmarks and typically bustling streets, now hauntingly empty. This project serves as a powerful historical record, portraying Manchester in a state of isolation, reflecting the profound impact of the pandemic on daily life.
